The orchids have grown, the acrylic collage now fills a 30 x 15 canvas. The orchids have finished blooming for this year and now only bloom on the canvas. Orchids II is framed in a dark cherrywood colored frame.

Orchids I
I have always been fascinated by orchids and have recently added a few to our house plant collection. In the beginning stages this painting was based on one of those orchids.
The original is a 14 x 11 acrylic collage on board.
