Lost Fairy Slippers.

Working on something new.
Lady Slippers in the deep dark woods.
Might use it as a name.
Or, Lost Shoes, just kidding.

We had beautiful Lady Slippers that grew around our pond in New Hampshire.  Always fun to photograph.  They were the rose colored variety.

My friend Gayle's hibiscus overwintered at my house.  During it's stay it gave me this lovely bloom.

Gives it a country French feel.

The Caged Bird Sings

I found a small wood cut of a caged bird 

and knew I wanted to incorporate it into a piece.  

So here is, "The Caged Bird Sings"

Think I like the brown frame.

Bird of Peace

The Egret is sometimes associated with peace and harmony.  This quiet Egret is waiting for Peace. I was working on this when  horrendous things were happening in Aleppo.  No one deserves the disaster the poor civilians of that town are having to endure.
