Daisy Dog

Oh, my gosh in the cover of the studio is another poured acrylic painting.  What could I do with it?
Maybe I will do a negative shape painting.  And so Daisy Dog, a greyhound of course.

Lonely Lady

Sitting on the back porch alone and wondering what to paint I glanced over at a pot of leaves and realized it had bloomed.  It was one single white calla lily. Not sure if the it was the lily or me who was lonely.  During covid lockdown you can feel very alone.

Iris Sisters

We finally loosened up a little and met in gardens with social distancing.  Also was a BYO beverage.  Somethings coffee, iced coffee, wine.  Whatever.  These 3 iris were each in a different friends garden, but all of the same genius.  Hence the name.

Under the Sea

Being bored again and finding a poured acrylic background canvas looked for something to paint on it and decided it looked like it was underwater.
I added a large moon snail shell and a small sea horse.

My beautiful Clivia gifted me with a bloom the spring so of course I painted it.

Moon Series

I've continued to work on the moon series.  At one point I realized I had done quite a few moon paintings so I decided to cover the months.  Here are the last 2.

Cherry Blossoms

During the covid shut down time the  Akebono Cherry tree out front bloomed.  It was so nice to see spring coming while we were all staying at home.
