Orchids II

The orchids have grown, the acrylic collage now fills a 30 x 15 canvas. The orchids have finished blooming for this year and now only bloom on the canvas. Orchids II is framed in a dark cherrywood colored frame.

Orchids I

I have always been fascinated by orchids and have recently added a few to our house plant collection. In the beginning stages this painting was based on one of those orchids.

The original is a 14 x 11 acrylic collage on board.

Coming Home

I can almost feel the warm summer sun setting in the West as I look at this painting depicting a trio of sail boats coming home in the last golden glow of a warm summer day.

Night Fountain

Night Fountain is another painting from the texture collection. It depicts a lighted fountain at night. The bubbles are touched with a light sprinkle of diamond dust that sparkle under a chandelier.

Rain on Whidbey

Living in the Northwest one quickly learns there are many days of rain. Large rains, small rains and just slight drizzles which are all depicted in this collage with rain falling over the forest of evergreens and over the surrounding oceans.
