Rotated at the gallery today and hung, "Walk through Paradise Garden" inspired by Delius music, "A Walk to the Paradise Garden."

Just started painting freely and all of a sudden a peacock seemed to show up so i put him in a garden and added the sun/fruits/moon.

A Gift from Amsterdam

Something new for Spring.  Totally inspired by the wonderful works of Kehinde Wiley.  I painted flowers of the season over a pattern designed background.
Hopefully will give a feeling of delft ware behind the tulips

Up the Down Staircase

I always loved reading the Shel Silverstein books with my children.  The subjects and the flow of the poetry stuck in my mind.  I see the steps as curved stairs of a library where books of ideas that spark the imagination are stored.

Touching the Sky

Touching the Sky.

Remember when you were young if you could swing high enough your feet would touch the sky.

I think I was visualizing the wonderful cut outs of Matisse when I began constructing the tree. 
The silhouette effect seemed to give the feeling  I was trying to achieve.
