Open Studio Tour?

No, I won't be on Whidbey's Open Studio Tour, so here's a picture of where I work.  Getting ready for rotation at Artworks Gallery and have pieces selected ready to pack.

Actually I'll be out of town and unable to even attend this year's tour.  Sorry to miss it, always a great chance to get inspired.

A is for Anemone

One of summer's last gifts, Japanese anemone is a  flower closing it petals each evening to provide a place for fairies to sleep. Anemone's closing petals are also said to predict rain.

Blueberries & Cranberries

This year we added several Blueberry bushes to our landscape.  In my mind’s eye I can already see them in their fall colors turning the vibrant reds I remembered from our years in New England.
Also playing with new iridescent paint.  Could it be frost on the berries?

And "Cranberries" coming right behind?
Thinking about the holidays already.
Must be the weather change.
