Thunder

Yes, he's definitely a horse and for some unknown reason I seem to want to call him Mycroft. But after last nights storm I've decided on Thunder.

This all started as a acrylic pour.  then added a couple herons, then decided they should be in the rain and tried to glaze some mist over them. Really not good.
Next step was a lot of sanding it was very bumpy from a thick paint I had incorporated into pouring mixture.
Then I covered the whole canvas with a palate knife using light molding paste  emulating old barn wood. Then, of course,  the barn needed a horse

July Daisy

My July garden is filled with daylilies and daisies so  I felt I had to capture them on canvas.
