Snowy sky

Had just a good time playing with a Golden acrylic product GAC.
The piece started with a collaged background which I dusted over with snow.  I sealed this with a thick layer of GAC and then added the snowflakes and repeated the GAC to make sure they were firmly adhered.

Inspiration for this piece came from a memory of looking up  at the sky during  a snow blizzard.  I'm not sure if it is from my childhood or from one of the Nor'easters we survived in the New England area.

January Gallery Exhibit

So happy with the first wall I  hung at Artworks Gallery for 2017.
The Dipladenia  ( from the Mandeville family ) painting was in dire need of a name and a friend suggest Social Climber.  Thought it was a great name, so I am pleased to present "Social Climber" for the first time.  Thought the gold back ground of the orchids, "Dancing Ladies" made a nice companion, so planned around the gold influence in this lay out of my paintings.
Hope you enjoy them.
