Touching the Sky



Remember when you were young if you could swing high enough your feet would touch the sky.

I think I was visualizing the wonderful cut outs of Matisse when I began constructing the tree. 
The silhouette effect seemed to give the feeling  I was trying to achieve.

Acrylic, textured art paper, tissue paper, oil pastels, and string.

Misty Morning

This was started in the fall when all the leaves were turning
beautiful colors.  By the time I finished it all the leave were on
the ground.  Glad I have this as a memory.
