Awaking

Perhaps this Heron is:
Awaking to the dawn of a new day, or
Awaking to the start of a new season, or
Awaking to the beginning of the world.
This Heron arises with the sun and gives thanks 
for his beautiful place in the world.

Spring Flowers

Playing with the delicacy of spring flowers and looking at Chinese watercolors I decided to paint our early blooming Hellebores.  Finally found a way to use my Chinese chop.
