Mother & Daughter


I have been working on  a painting of the beautiful Itoh "Copper Kettle" peony my daughter gave me several years ago for Mother's Day.  It blooms with such exceptionally colored blossoms I had to try to capture it on canvas.
In searching for an name someone suggested, "Best Buds" and this seemed to be a reflection  our relationship.  I'm naming it for the two of us who have shared so many things and have laughed so hard so many times the tears rolled down our cheeks.  Love you daughter.
