" Keeping in Touch"

 Acrylic on 16 x 20 Canvas 
Was painted for the WICA Fine Art Exhibit  "Phones and Phone Booths".
The title not only means keeping in touch by phone, but also keeping in touch with images of the past.  Phone poles which are slowly disappearing as lines become buried underground.

The exhibit also feature a collection of phone on lone from the Henny Family and Whidbey Telecom.
