After living through last month of January in the NorthWest there is no way I could leave out the rain, I think it has fallen at sometime every day. I did add a hope of spring with the yellow iris, wishing for the warm yellow rays of the sun. Golden Rain Acrylic and collage on 12 x 24 canvas
No theme, but on a wall large enough to hang both the diptych, Japanese Anemone and the triptych, Eastern Sunrise. Showing "The Girls" for the 1st time: One of the Girls, Which came First, & The Other Girl. Upper left, Wings of Night, is from the Legend of the Raven book and upper right is showing for the first time, Warm Whidbey Winds.
Still working on it. Working on something old from 2017 So for the 1st painting of 2018 I give you Sunset on Mutiny Bay subtitled Feeding time. Last sky was rather bland. Not any more. Love the blue and gold skies of the NW.
